Hi! I'm Maira, a Computer Science student at Texas A&M University. I spending my time on anything I think will be an interesting experience. In terms of software, I've been really into UX/UI/UD design and love making web apps for the campus community
This past summer I was a Software Engineering Intern at MongoDB. I also enjoy graph algorithms research which I completed with Tim Davis' LAGraph, and I'm currently building a mobile app for my capstone project with Viasat.

A web app for proximity-based tracking of free menstrual products for 2,000+ students across the Texas A&M campus, with a Google Sheets data pipeline pulling live inventory from 5+ women's organizations.
A production-ready mobile MVP that brings Viasat's web platform to native iOS and Android, so customers can track satellite billing and usage. A/B-tested with users and backed by GraphQL APIs.
A full-stack POS web app with cashier, kiosk, and manager views, Google OAuth, weather and text-ordering APIs, and an analytics dashboard. Cut transaction time by 20%.
A civic tool for exploring contact cards for elected officials, backed by a Node.js pipeline that normalizes 3,000+ representative records from the Google Civic API.
When I'm not coding, or gaming, I'm usually making a fun drink (or blowing all my internship money on them).
